2011 Le Deuce

The Viognier comes from Stonetree Vineyard and the Roussanne comes from Stillwater Creek Vineyard, both in the Wahluke Slope AVA. Fresh and floral with beautiful notes of white peach, dried apricot and smoky minerality. Fermentation in French oak puncheons for 14 days gives this wine a great texture and spice component.

2010 Dark Side Syrah

The 2010 is classic Dark Side! This elegant Syrah comes from the Horse Heaven Hills, Wahluke Slope and Walla Walla Vineyards.  Ripe flavors of sweet spice, blackberry, sage and a layer of smoky minerality seem to last forever. Very complex, this Syrah is big but has a velvety texture and will age nicely over the next 5 years.  This is one of Darby’s favorite Dark Side’s ever produced!

2010 Aunt Lee Syrah

2010 The Flip Side

2010 Swagger

The Swagger is a rich, dense, concentrated style, this is full bodied focused and pure with hints of mocha and black licorice rounding out the core current, plum and black cherry flavors.  This wine has a wonderful silky texture with a touch of tannins on the finish.

2011 Discovery Vineyard Syrah

Discovery vineyard is the new rock star vineyard that everyone is calling to source fruit. It’s a very small vineyard run by Milo and Kay May and managed by Paul Champoux, a great combination. We source Syrah and Cabernet from them and are getting ready to do some custom planting on a new piece of land they purchased ( Malbec, Cab and Grenache). This Syrah is very dark and has amazing pepper and mineral notes that finishes with blackberry and graphite.  This wine will age nicely over the next 3-5 years.
