2012 Le Deuce

The 2012 has classic aromas of citrus, fresh cut flowers and minerals that are followed by lush flavors of apricot, orange peel and exotic spices.  This wine is great on it’s own but has enough acidity to pair well with a wide range of foods.

2013 Purple Haze – 6 Btls

Another stunning vintage for Purple Haze!  This wine is gorgeous, rich and polished.  Offering a dense, tightly focused core of blackberry, cassis and Mocha.  Shows terrific length and detail on the finish, which goes on and on… A blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Petite Verdot, Cab Franc and Mourvedre.

2011 Aunt Lee Syrah

A flashy style, accented by spicy, toasty oak, anise and a dense mix of red and dark berry fruit. The texture is both supple and firm, leading to a lingering finish.

2012 Rosé

The 2012 Live Wire Rosé is a perfect warm weather wine and great accompaniment to food.  Easy to drink with flavors of melon, citrus, wild strawberry and sweet black cherry.  Made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, this Rosé has a beautiful color and the same lush texture as the 2011.

2011 Malbec

This is our first Malbec and we made it just for our club members. Only a small amount will available to purchase after members get their allocation.  It is almost black in color with mineral, bittersweet cocoa and blackberry notes.  This wine will age gracefully over the next 5-7 years.

2011 Discovery Vineyard Syrah

Discovery vineyard is the new rock star vineyard that everyone is calling to source fruit. It’s a very small vineyard run by Milo and Kay May and managed by Paul Champoux, a great combination. We source Syrah and Cabernet from them and are getting ready to do some custom planting on a new piece of land they purchased ( Malbec, Cab and Grenache). This Syrah is very dark and has amazing pepper and mineral notes that finishes with blackberry and graphite.  This wine will age nicely over the next 3-5 years.

2011 Mourvedre

This is clearly one of my favorite varietals to work with due to the differences I can detect from vineyard to vineyard. This gem is velvety round and dark, with a layer of cracked pepper over the core of plush plum
and leather. We aged this wine in 500 Liter puncheons which adds to the long, silky and smoky finish.

2011 Petite Sirah/Syrah

This is our first attempt at this blend and I am very excited about how this wine is coming along in the bottle. Warning, it’s a monster! It shows wonderful purity, density, structure and finesse, exhibiting tiers of ripe blackberry fruit, with hints of spice and cedar. This powerful blend will age nicely for 5-7 years easily.

2011 Rosé

This Rosé was barrel aged which adds an amazing mouth feel and richness. This very brisk style offers alluring flavors of cherry, strawberry and watermelon rind. Great acidity and balance will make this your go to Rosé for the summer.

2011 Le Deuce

The Viognier comes from Stonetree Vineyard and the Roussanne comes from Stillwater Creek Vineyard, both in the Wahluke Slope AVA. Fresh and floral with beautiful notes of white peach, dried apricot and smoky minerality. Fermentation in French oak puncheons for 14 days gives this wine a great texture and spice component.

2010 Marsanne

This wine, from one of the greatest vineyards in the state, has a great mouth-feel with seamless lushness and notes of orange peel, honey and fresh citrus . Our Marsanne is a great food wine due to the crisp acidity.

2010 Dark Side Syrah

The 2010 is classic Dark Side! This elegant Syrah comes from the Horse Heaven Hills, Wahluke Slope and Walla Walla Vineyards.  Ripe flavors of sweet spice, blackberry, sage and a layer of smoky minerality seem to last forever. Very complex, this Syrah is big but has a velvety texture and will age nicely over the next 5 years.  This is one of Darby’s favorite Dark Side’s ever produced!

2010 The Flip Side

2010 Cabernet Franc

The Cabernet Franc is elegant and deftly balanced with pretty red berry and raspberry fruit against dusky herbs, white pepper and cedar notes.  The fruit comes from Stonetree Vineyard and a small amount from Stillwater Creek Vineyard.  We used 30% new French oak which adds a spicy complexity.

2009 The Swagger

If you like big, muscular Bordeaux blends, this is your wine. Grown in one of the warmer sites in the state, The Swagger results in a wine with power and complexity. It’s dark and powerful with notes of boysenberry, raspberry and dark cherries. Some new French oak adds spices and even more complexity.

2009 Chaos

A deep, fruit filled and complex blend with aromas of sweet spices and plum. This wine has a great texture and notes of cedar, currant and blackberry surrounded by supple tannins. The vineyards we sourced for this blend boast some of the best fruit in the state.
